Tropical Depression 27-W!
First off, who names these storms? LOL! Anyways, here’s a clip at the beach during Tropical Depression 27-W (what I thought was named “Kong Rey” I must of mis-read the PDN’s archive photo). For some reason I thought the height of the storm was going to hit at 12am tomorrow… but it turns out I was in it. Damn you local news!
Just for fun I want to share my personal “must do” typhoon checklist. Here it is in random order… feel free to add to the list.
- clear loose debris from the yard
- purchase canned goods
- get new batteries (the ones from the freezer don’t count)
- fill my bathtub with water
- fill up the car and gas cans with gas
- put my ply boards up over the windows
- do laundry
- and take a dump right before the storm hits (stale joke)
That’s all folks! Have a safe one!

Kong Rey was last year sir!
If you were looking at PDN’s website,
the caption on the picture reads:
Residents in this April 2007 file photo prepare for Tropical Storm Kong-Rey. A tropical depression is expected to bring storm conditions to Guam this evening.
The name of the storm is Tropical Depression 27-W!
I’m sure we’ll all be picking up banana trees and tangantangan branches in the morning.

Boy do I feel like a doo doo head! I assumed the content on the PDN was fresh without confirming the date… you know what they say when you assume… LOL.

Hey Chris, thanks for checking it out! I really appreciate it, bro. I’ve been back and forth to 7milesdown.com every now and then and I dig it. Especially the movie reviews!
I’ll be adding it on my links page too. Thanks!

Sounds good man! Thanks for the link. We all got to stick together. Im not sure if you remember my Nyao Joey Gumabon. He said wassup. He moved to Vegas a couple years back. I’m hoping to send him a copy of Shiro’s Head.

-ask your friend at mc donalds to fill up large garbage bags of ice (to save your perishable food goods just so you can bbq it later)
-take your roosters in doors
-make sure your pigs are safe, if not, your neighbor is gonna have fiesta after typhoon
-make reservations at hotel if you want air-con
