A Guam Christmas Surprise

Okay, so there I was not doing much. I was in the middle of “Extreme Makeover Home Edition – Ty Pennington Behind the Scenes” just sitting on the couch. Don was typing up some posts. Naomi was on her way home. All of a sudden, from out of nowhere, I hear a knock on the door and go outside to find…Christmas Carolers! Led by their guitar-playing front man, they were spreading the love of Christmas through song on behalf of the PMCC Church (Pentacostal Church of Christ 4th Watch). And within minutes, Don and I setup a makeshift lighting rig on the porch for an impromptu MPEG-worthy performance.

The group of six carolers gave a cool medley of island-style Christmas classics that really did spread the holiday cheer. They mentioned that on behalf of their church, they do what they do to help people remember the meaning of Christmas. After their performance, we gave what little cash we had to show our appreciation as well as hooking them up with a few “Shiro’s Head Masakatsu is Back” t-shirts :) What started out to be a regular, average night ended up to be a night of Christmas sing-a-longs and meeting kind strangers. It was a perfect kick in the head from out of nowhere. They did their job well.

  1. This is great, they really looked like they were having fun with it. I feel all festive now:)

  2. I love these guys,
They always hit up the Okada x-mas parties we usually have up in Latte Heights, and usually with a keyboard too!

Thanks for putting this up man, helps to remind us what’s what.
