I hope you are sending this out everywhere!
Comment by Chelsa Muna-Brecht on 16 March 2009:
Hafa Don,
I’m not a big sponsor or anything but can I just donate some cash to you guys? I read this today, “if you have all the food that you need in your (re)fridge(rator) then you can donate to a worthy cause. I got your email today. Are you & Kel my worthy cause? March 28th, gaige gi gima-hu i gupot prim-siha
Comment by Jayton Okada on 16 March 2009:
Good luck guys.
If GMI had the money I’d be on top of that shizz
Good news though, I should get all the legal paperwork out of the way soon,
and then I’m going to try to get a Small Business loan.
The Small Business Administration has all these cool and educationl courses online that are free, and I’m totally making use of it.
Also, have you guys registered with ASCAP?
The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers
awesome stuff! check it out
Comment by Don Muna on 17 March 2009:
Ai adai Chelsa my sweet, sweet cousin… as much as I would love to take your money, I have to respectfully decline your generous offer. If anyone is going to pay out of pocket it’s going to be me and Kel.
Besides, companies have marketing budgets for stuff like this. Right?
Hope all is well… you take care. Hey don’t you owe us dinner?
my regards to the fam.
Comment by Kel Muna on 17 March 2009:
Chelsa and Jayton, bless your hearts for considering, but Don’s right. Also, we’re giving the commercial Guam businesses a chance to get involved in an opportunity that will shoot them past all others by displaying their vision, support and interactivity with Guam on a big LA stage.
All it takes is the one business or organized sponsor with the foresight and of course hearts like yours. And yes, we have faith that there has to be at least one out there.
Comment by Don Muna on 23 March 2009:
Okay Chelsa… turns out you were right all along. All the friends and family are suggesting a fundraiser. So a fundraiser it is! More details to come.
Comment by Don Muna on 23 March 2009:
Maribelle… thank you so much for your contribution!
Comment by Don Muna on 23 March 2009:
Mike! God bless you bro! Thanks for your help.
Comment by Sarah on 23 March 2009:
Uh oh, what happened? Now you’re back to zero…
Comment by Decrepit on 23 March 2009:
I wish the luck to the super muna bros!
Help spread the word of the Guam talent stream
Comment by Jayton Kyle Iseke Okada on 23 March 2009:
Don’t forget what I asked you Decrepit. Ask the rest of the band please
Also, I mass e-mailed a few hundred of my friends, family, and former business contacts, hopefully a handful can make a donation guys.
Don, I also wanted to pitch the idea of having art exhibited at the fundraiser. Including the ISLA Artists (Steph O’Connor, Rachel V.), our very own Miget, Ryan Shook(Matala, the band might not play, but he wants to show his paintings) and even maybe Sarah’s arts and crafts from her blog!
Kie from Sinanganta also had art on display at the ISLA Art Show, it’d be nice for him to bring in a double whammy of photos and poetry!
Comment by Michael Lujan Bevacqua on 24 March 2009:
If there’s a fundraiser I’d be glad to display some artwork and sell some to help raise money.
The painting I just did for the Joy of Painting segment, if someone wants to buy that I’ll donate the money to Kel and Don’s trip.
Comment by Don Muna on 24 March 2009:
Si Yu’us Ma’ase Miget.
Comment by Jayton Okada on 24 March 2009:
I had a speech for Communications today, and its one of our Big 3 speeches for our grade. It was supposed to be a persuasive speech.
I wanted to persuade the class to write poetry, instead of doing a boring powerpoint and having clips and graphix, I wrote a 3-page, 7 minute long slam poem.
At the end I plugged the Ralphy’s event
Not to mention I wore the Shiro’s Head shirt as well.
Don, a lot of peeps are interested in lending a hand for the event!
Comment by hala on 25 March 2009:
What Ralphy’s Event?
Comment by Jayton Okada on 25 March 2009:

Comment by Jayton Okada on 25 March 2009:
sister “hala”
it’s funny how you said you’re the “certified doorhandler” for the event.
“Hala, hala the door. Pull it open nai.”
Comment by Chris T. on 28 March 2009:
I see it’s been idle for a couple of days now. Let’s keep spreading the word.. $300.00 more to go.
Comment by Renae Punzalan on 31 March 2009:
Hey boys, I’m really excited about this movie. I can’t wait to see it as well as the other movies that will be shown here on LA. Thank you. I wish you all the best. Xoxo, Renae Punzalan
Comment by Pamela Yamashita DeVera on 31 March 2009:
Hi Kel,
Congratulations and best wishes from an old friend! (“I knew you way back when” – you were young and talented – oh wait, you’re STILL young and talented!) Word is spreading quickly and I have no doubt you’ll be able to attend not only the L.A. event, but other future promotions. We’re rooting for you, and I’m hoping I’ll be able to attend the Ralphy’s fundraiser on 4/21.
Pam
Comment by Kel Muna on 31 March 2009:

Yeah – it’s a trip how far things have come. We’ve been truly blessed. Oh – and we haven’t even officially announced the fundraiser at Ralphy’s yet and you already know about it! That’s so cool.
Take care, give my best to Rich and hope to see you guys there! Thanks again!
Comment by Kel Muna on 31 March 2009:
I know it’s a little early, but I can’t help it. I just wanted to take a quick moment to THANK ALL OF YOU who have helped with the fundraiser one way or another. I know it’s not over yet, but I just wanted to recognize that it’s been a blessing to have it come further then I thought it would and it wouldn’t have been possible to get this far without you all. So thank you!
Comment by Jayton Okada on 1 April 2009:
