Rayla Rawks! haha Don, I knew you were gonna ask that question about her history of dancing. by far she was the baddest female dancer back when we used to dance. Congrats to Rayla and the Talent Box staff! tell Lito to stop complaining about not having starbucks back home lol
Comment by Kel Muna on 24 April 2009:
Great job, Rayla! Congratulations on the success of The Talent Box & thanks again for showing your support by comin’ out to “L.A’ or BUST”!
I really enjoyed that you kept it real in the interview. It was very honest and fun.
Also, I have to give props to the crews back in the day, like Brown and Proud, L.I.F.E. and Raggedy Boys.
Can anyone remember any others?

Rayla has always been an awesome dancer, pair that up with her business saviness and freakin’ outrageous personality and she’s destined for success. She’s proof that BIG dreams do come true!
It’s great that the Talent Box offers the island has an additional outlet for our youth. They can definitely learn from Rayla and Dream BIG then turn around and acheive those dreams!
You’ve come a long way, Rayl! I’m so proud of you!!
Comment by Kat on 25 April 2009:

Comment by RAYLA on 26 April 2009:
Hey whose the guy the said I was the dancer from back in the day?
Funny! are you a raggedy boy?
Comment by trench on 26 April 2009:
Raggedy boy reunion! haha… I remember my cousin Ed Lizama in that group! Good times! Was it Don or Kel who was into the hip hop scene back in the day?
Comment by Michael Lujan Bevacqua on 26 April 2009:
I won some free Hip Hop lessons from the Talent Box during the raffle at the Shiro’s Head fundraiser, but unfortunately Sumahi’s too young to use them. She’s still only two and the youngest that can take the classes is three.
I guess I could use them for me, as anyone who was at the fundraiser on Tuesday saw, it would be nice if I worked on my dance moves.
Comment by kayla on 26 April 2009:

Love You Auntie Rayla
Comment by Kel Muna on 26 April 2009:
The Guamology tradition of answering your cell phone during the interview lives on! Thanks for keeping it alive, Rayla! (7:21 into the first part)
Comment by Kel Muna on 26 April 2009:
Miget, it would be cool if you took the Hip-Hop dance lessons! Jayton was telling me that he witnessed you mosh on the floor! That’s bad-ass! And Trench, that would be Don – but I, too, have a fine appreciation for 90’s hip-hop and r&b! And country – Garth’s early years. Nevermind.
Comment by danielle biacan on 27 April 2009:

Comment by Michael Lujan Bevacqua on 27 April 2009:
At first I was kind of sad that Freedom Fries played last, since it meant less people would probably see them. But once people started dancing to all that lovely Ska music, I was glad they went last. I was glad that BJ Cruz and Robert Underwood weren’t around to see me mosh.
Comment by Geri Pinaula on 27 April 2009:
Marv & I are so proud of you!!! You have come a long way with Talent Box. The best part is that it’s all about the KIDS!! You definitely have the MIDAS touch girl!!

You wanna talk about back in the days?! I know about back in the days! Back before everything! I was there! Look at Rayla now:) I’m so happy for you that you got something that really is a part of YOU. It isn’t everyday people realize that what they love to do is the most rewarding act you should be doing. Why do anything else? Plus it makes you a little dough on the side and that’s all great but what you’re doing for the kids and the community is priceless. Keep it going and I wish you nothing but growth, success and love.
Kev
That would be cool if Pure P and Raggedy did a real quick show huh? Jabbawho? j/k
