L.A. Day 08

Time for some personal let-loose. We decided since the workshops at the fest are over, that we’d unwind with a banzai road trip to Las Vegas (a 4 hour drive from L.A.) and then to San Francisco (an 8 hour drive from Vegas). We were en route to the city that never sleeps to spend some time with our old friends from Guam, Phil Vasapolli (who drove in from Vegas to see the L.A. screening of Shiro’s Head and then drove right back home in the same night), Joey Gumabon and the very kind Carcila.

Even though we arrived at about 11pm and only had a few hours to spend in Las Vegas before driving out to San Francisco, they all were so kind enough to give us a quick, impromptu tour of ‘the strip’ and to talk about our ‘good old days’ on Guam. Thanks guys for taking us around, allowing us to be tourists while making us feel at home and of course to Phil for letting us sleep at his pad. That was the best Cup ‘O Noodles I’ve had in a long time! :) And in case you were wondering, no, we didn’t hit up the tables or slots.

    wow I’m actually in one of your films!!!!!!! Haha….it was great seeing you and don again….had a blast….

    believe me I don’t get out too often in vegas so it was hella fun…THANK YOU!

    Love the beginning-go Elvis!!! It’s great that you can squeeze in some time to really show Abel around-he must be having a blast! I know it is Kel’s first time on the strip too :) Travel safe guys!
